I spoke with the Mayor of our closest town Wednesday afternoon, he told me our meeting concerning the Farmers market would most likely NOT HAPPEN..Thursday as we were in the
BULLS EYE of this approaching storm..
He was right.
Wednesday evening I started sweeping snow off of our 2 greenhouses at 7 p.m.
I swept again at 9 p.m.... then MIDNIGHT, then again at 4 a/m/ and again at 7 a.m.
to keep the structures from collapsing.
We ended up with 15 inches of very wet-HEAVY snow...
We would have lost the greenhouses if I had not done that..
While removing the snow, I hurt/pulled my back..I'll be hobblin' around for 2-3 days...again
A buildings roof collapsed just down the road 7 miles where we go for ice cream on a hot day..West Concord...
Owatonna, the closest sizable town had 15.5 inches..
