What is Your Weather?

We have cleared out now but the wind is worse. 34 mph gusts and wind chills are brutal.
No turkeys or deer have been out since yesterday even though I refilled the feeder and scattered a bag on the ground. They are staying low till things improve.
 
25º out...and it's flurries and a hidden sun that peeked through for 5 minutes and now is covered in cloud cover.
Windy as heck out. Gusts tonight may be 40 mph's.
Tina is outside feeding the deer. They stand outside and look up at the windows in the back; as if to say,"Hey Lady...Where's the Food?" hahahahaha

Just brought up another bag of pellets for the stove...

Soup sounds mighty tempting for soup and sandwich tonight.
 
Warm out today... It's 38.3º out and drizzle all day.
The ground looks like a mud slide was out there.

A little splotchy snow spots that didn't melt yet.
Other than that...it's not bad out! Looks like the low 40's for the week coming!

Only 30º overnight, and that's warmer than usual.

I should drain and put the snow blower away, but knowing that I did that last year, we got some snow after I did! hahahahah

Actually I could really love a huge snow event, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon!
 
We are warmer than we have been in a while. Will get in the upper 30's today and 20's overnight. Good sap harvest weather. Saw a few cookers going yesterday so the maple syrup is on the way.

I love this time of year and maple syrup time is special. I will be stocking up on plenty of top quality syrup. I won't even consider those terrible substitute syrups on the market. Here's hoping for a great maple syrup season!
 
Windy!!!

Gusts up to 50/60 MPH. There is a wind advisory in effect. That means people in the hills around LA cannot park on the streets in case of a fire. Those streets are very narrow. It's also red flag weather, high fire risk. The palm trees are bending over and their fronds are all over the place. At least no risk of rain on Oscar night. Just hairdo's blown to pieces.
 
This has been the nicest day in a long time up here. Low 40's and a little breeze. Got some of the ruts around my log pile smoothed out. Waiting for the Amish guy to cut it but his saw broke on Saturday. Going to have all kinds of slop from here to the weekend.
 
Yeah! Made a nice day here too! Made it to 38º....but No Wind!
It was cloudy and dreary all day except for 10 minutes, the sun peeked out then disappeared.
Went outside to check the air pressures in the tires on the car, and I stepped on the lawn close to the driveway, and squished into the mud like 1 inch. LOL
 
Well this SUCKS! Guess I will need to put the chains on the truck now. Some crap is coming your way Peeps and Jimmy!

Just got winter storm warning for 5-8" with ice and freezing rain mixed in. Greater accumulations on the higher elevations like my place. Let it come!!!

Yep! ... That's why I still have the Generator plugged in and ready to go!

Gotz Plenty of wood pellets upstairs, and we are all set!

My cousin in Taylor,PA is gonna be p!$$ed. She and her Hubbs deliver the newspaper in the early early morning. i better call her and tell hubbs to put the chains on tuesday night!... LOL

WINDY, WINDY, WINDY! Highs are expected to be mid 70's with winds up to 20 MPH. Not good for my allergies.

No sleet or freezing rain. Darn! Grrrrr!!

It is 77º inside the house, and I have a window open to get some cool air.
 
We got about 5" of the heaviest snow i have plowed in years. Quite the mess everywhere. Roads were real crappy as the second round that hit mid morning put another 2 inches on top of the slush from last night. They only had one lane on most secondary roads and were working to get it off and some salt down this afternoon. Rolled up big dough balls every time I plowed. We are to get more tomorrow.

Spring has sprung. My fruit trees are blooming and birds are building nests. We are supposed to get some rain from Wednesday on but we'll see. Time to get my gardens cleaned up.
 
It's feeling like spring here too. I love it! I saw some beautiful hanging baskets at Lowe's the other day, but it may still be a little early. The down side is the yellow squigglies in the trees...such a mess.
 
We got up to 44 today and the big melt is on. Seeing brown stubble showing out in the fields and tomorrow is to hit 52 and 49 Monday with rain. Should take most of the snow except where I plowed it up.
 
It rained Thursday night. Today it is 64 with a breeze and scattered clouds. The roses are putting out new growth and the Chinese magnolia has finished blooming.

77 is hot? Not in my part of the world. It is hot when it gets over 100. Be nice to mama. My daughter after the cancer cannot control her body temperature. Usually her hands are ice cold. I'll be wearing a tank top and she is wearing a sweatshirt.
 
We never got below freezing last night. 37 and going to 56 today. Even warmer tonight with temps in the low 40's. Going to 51 and rain for Monday and then a cool down to 30's during the day and some snow by mid week.

It was 76 in my house yesterday also. I opened windows and put fans on.
