The "Breakfast" thread

My aunt would make those for holiday breakfast before she would start cooking the holiday meal.
She used tuna cans with both sides cut off to poach her eggs.
Mom and I would go over for breakfast and then mom would help her prep for the family holiday dinner.

I don't think of it that way. I never had it growing up, but who knows?

It's a splurge. When I do make it (not often), we each only get 1/2 muffin and 1 egg.

I usually eat one egg lately.

Sunday breakfast in bed for my sweetie.

DD and I shared breakfast/brunch yesterday. Apple pie pancakes - Stuffed with walnuts and raisins, warm baked apple cinnamon compote & topped with graham crumble. DD ate half a pancake and I had a 1/4 of one pancake.
And corned beef hash, home fries, toast, and we each had one and a half poached eggs.
