I opened a bottle of the good stuff for John A and me. We got this on our long weekend to Walla Walla with John A and Meg a few years ago.
Strong black tea with honey.

Just a sore throat. Probably from sleeping with my mouth open due to stuffy nose (probably caused by allergies and dry forced heat). Don't think I have a cold/flu. Just achy joints from the cold winter weather.

I fancied some wine with dinner and noticed this bottle had some swelling at the cork. It was 24 years old so thought I better open it. The cork was disintegrating and glad I did . It tasted great and was perfect with tonight’s pasta.

Vodka martini on for tonight - haven’t had one in months. Wish you were closer Lee. We over bought on Spanish Queens at Costco and have a 10 year supply. The olives are good but the piquant peppers take some getting used to.
Now I want one!
