I started the happy hour early… rainy day and just got back from a shoe buying adventure.
You’d like this Syrah from Cold Springs. Cold Springs is a small winery off I-82 along the Snake River.
Two years ago we finally stopped and ended up buying two cases of wine. This is the first bottle I’ve
opened and it is excellent. When we bought it Nancy did all the tasting since I was driving. i feel
bad she can’t have any….

Today had two Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned's… last night two Tito’s, and some cheap red blend yesterday. The red blend was quite good for a $9 bottle of wine.

I had a Strawberry Rhubarb Old Fashioned that was on special, unusual and tasty.

I spotted this as soon as I walked into my package store. It called to me. Thought it would be great for warm summer evenings.

It IS! Needs a half of a strawberry, though.

I have this every night: 1 oz. Smirnoff raspberry, lot of ice, fill glass with raspberry lime seltzer, squeeze of lime, crushed mint leaves. Ahhh!
