The tequila gave me a killer headache -not used to it.
Tonight’s beverage was a killer 2001 Syrah from one of the better wineries in Washington. We bought this years ago and put it under our bar and forgot about it. It is perfect with tonight’s strip loins.

This is excellent. I’d like to go back to this winery but Nancy would never stop now. We don’t overnight in Nampa anymore and she quit drinking.

Thanks! It was the first time, that I can remember, we stayed home instead of going out. We go out enough… and are planing a trip to B.C. In January and will go out a lot there.

I’m out of vodka and tried gin in a Bloody Mary with Spanish olives stuffed with anchovies and not bad.

No, just Tabasco and fresh ground black pepper.
I like it dirty. The olive tastes good with the tomato juice. I like the sound of Spanish olives stuffed with anchovies. I'll have to look for them.

This afternoon I opened this 27 year old bottle of Col Solare, a San Michelle offering we got so many years ago. It’s a shame I don’t have a steak on the Barbie.

The wine for tonight, a 26 year old Matthews. There are also two bottle’s of bubbly in the icebox, a Trevari and a Josh 0 alcohol.

Well, that trip was forgotten about. To many irons in the fire.
I stopped at the Class VI store this morning and stocked up on libations that were depleted. I got a jug of Stoli, first I’ve had in decades. Seriously, I see no difference between that and the Goose.
