I had two two Bloody Mary’s for breakfast and were ok.
They could have been spicier and will ask for the Tabasco
next time.

We werre at Total WIne yesterday, and picked up some holiday beverages. Tonight we had a small taste test of all three.

Water, I’m drinking water. I have a constant headache in this high altitude and alcohol will only exacerbate it. I’m working on my third pint of water and will probably drink two more tonight.
I drink water all day from the time I get up.
Right now I'm drinking hot black tea.
Unsweetened.

Tonight was an IPA from Jackson Hole and first beer all week. I think I’ve had it before.

Last session I did well with the whites. Riesling, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio. This week, the Pinot noir and Grenache are messing with me. They are both fruity and flowery. I’m not picking up the difference. I guess I have to keep drinking more!!!

We are in Nampa tonight and decided to eat in the Best Western.
I had the Sockeye IPA and two shots of Hornitos.

I sip. I like to savor the flavour. I like Hornitos as it doesn't have the vanilla overtones the higher end tequilas have.

Last night - Old World vs New World
Chardonnay - Pinot Noir - Syrah - Cabernet/Bordeaux from France and the US.
Identify first the continent, then later mixed them all and had to identify both the varietal and the country.
Damn! I had to drink 8 wines!
The Pinots were messing with me.

Not Zing Zang, but I do like that. This was Christie's New England Bloody Mary mix and was too bland. I should have gotten the "bold and spicy".
