What is Your Weather?

We're in a sunny, "warm" stretch..... 40 degrees all week. I will be glad to lose some of this white crap. Or all of it. NOW!

Oh I forgot, last Tuesday it snowed all day long...only about an inch accumulated on the ground. Wednesday it was in the 60's and sunny...Texas weather is psycho!

I know what you mean Angel...sounds like the crazy weather we have here in Atlanta...the joke among the weather forecasters here is "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute"...

We have had some severe thunderstorms yesterday and today. Really scary lightning and thunder :hide: and no power for what seemed like eons.

It's been cool and pleasant for the last couple of days.
According to the forecast, the heat will be back on in the coming week, with higher humidity as well, which sucks.
79 F right now.

We've got 76 F and clear right now. Supposed to be mid-80s tomorrow for the beginning of a weekend-long festival. DH is going golfing with a buddy, so I'm heading to the wine tasting on my own

The weather in NYC is glorious. Just popped into the 70's. Hoping for a great day as I plan to drive to Virginia this afternoon.

We are breaking the record in the Pacific Northwest for the latest date in the year in which the temps hit 80 degrees. Global warming ny a_ _!

Hot (I am OK with that) and freakin' humid ! (I am not OK with that!)

Walking out my back door is like walking into a bowl of Jello!

It's hot, Hot, FREAKING HOT!!

Did I mention it was HOT?

I'm very tired of this. It's been this way (see pic) for the last 10 days!

The bottom left number is indoor temp, and the bottom right is outdoor temp. :w00t:

No end in sight, either. We've barely been outside in the last week. :yuk:

I hear ya! I've been out in a sweltering garage trying to figure out how to get an absolutely, positively, dead-as-a-doornail battery out of my car without metric tools . Not pretty, but managed to figure it out!

Heat index is supposed to be 101 tomorrow.
Other than that, a nice balmy low 90s.
Thunderstorms coming, possibly severe.
I am sick of this shit.
This is NW Ohio? lol

Triple digits again today. We had a little rain yesterday, just made it humid and hot, lol. chance of the same today.

It seems like June 21, someone flipped a switch and we have summer! Very hot this week, 90's. Now it's windy, too. We have had lots of rain, and now heat, so the grass/weeds are quite tall. This wind and heat will dry it out, and we'll have fires. Especially now that we are moving into the afternoon thunderstorm time of year. Stuff will dry out, then lightning. We don't get a whole lot of rain during the storms, not enough to prevent lightning strikes from starting fires.

We are still recovering from the severe thunderstorms and that was almost two weeks ago! We took a direct hit on our power line, exploded a nearby tree limb but luckily all my stuff was on power strips. The TV picked up a lot of magnetism and had all funny colors for awhile, but it finally went away and is normal now. My Dolby digital 5.1 surround speakers with THX are mostly working, they have developed a small glitch on some channels.
The basement flooded up to around 3 feet. Of course, none of it was outside water, instead it came right up the sewer line and popped the lid off the trap (think manhole cover). Even standing on it I couldn't get it back down, the pressure was so high.
I got the furnace working and cleaned out, thankfully, as well as the washer and drier. The drier had so much water in it, I just put the water pump into the drum and sucked the water out from there.
The water heater was toast, so I bought a new one and I was able to install it Wednesday. Between it and the new fittings for it I spent around $383 after tax, so I think I got off pretty lucky there. Today is when I finally got the drier running, so now we have hot water and are able to do laundry.
Still tons of stuff to throw out yet. The patio is full of stuff we have hauled out already, so no grilling this week for us. We have to throw out stuff bit by bit so as not to piss off the town.
One of our friends is still without power, and another had a tree fall on their roof. They cant remove it because it is fowled up in the power line, and so far ComEd has not been able to get to them because they are so swamped with repairs. We also lost our cable and internet for a couple of days, but that came back on quickly.
Right now it has been fairly mild for the last couple of days, not getting above 83 today and yesterday it was 78. It is supped to stay below 85 thru the weekend so now is a good time for me to finish painting the garage, just the trim left to do.
