What is Your Weather?

We have had 22 plus inches of snow. A lake-effect snow advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. and it will be bitterly cold, too. Lake-effect snow showers will continue across Cuyahoga County Sunday night. In some areas, snow is falling at about 1 inch an hour. In addition winds of 15 to 25 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow. Wind chills will be near zero.

Pretty picture this morning. lol

We can see snow on our local mountains just a short distance away. But it's almost 80 here, 4,000 feet below. Typical winter day.

Wart- I was joking. You in LA & have 80 degree, Up here in San Francisco We are in the 60's. The rest of the Country is under Snow- I am sure we are all friends here!

It's a New Year's Day tradition for many here in L.A......people like to drive up to the local mountains and play in the snow. My daughter and her husband took their 2 year old who's never seen snow before on a hour drive up the mountain on New Year's Day.
My wife and I visited some friends close by instead and watched the Rose Bowl game on tv. Ohio State did good. :D

Gotta go to the store in the morning for milk and bread...it's supposed to snow here and it's some sort of a tradition.

I am in Houston seeing my mom and there is supposed to be a hard freeze here tomorrow so I am supposed to go and check her antifreeze in her car in the morning.

6-8 inches of snow by tomorrow evening.
Oh joy, I'll be fighting the idiots at the supermarket who load up on bread, milk and toilet paper.
Gotta love Ohioans who act like they've never been through this before.
Actually, I think it's a tradition around here.
Weather forecast: big snow.
Holy shit, let's go to the store, we may get snowed in even though we all live in a town the size of a freaking postage stamp with said store only 5 minutes away!!!!
LOL!!
<sarc off> haha

Today: Cloudy with snow showers this morning and steady snow likely this afternoon. High 23F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Snow accumulating 2 to 4 inches.

Tonight: Snow likely. Low near 20F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

That'll be a total of 9" on the ground unless this passes by.. wonderful!

We're waiting on "Deathstorm 2010" at the moment.

Yesterday's paper had the headline "Metro Detroit to see significant snowfall this week". The article mentioned the possibility of 2-4 inches of snow. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how 2-4 inches of snow, in Michigan, in FREAKING JANUARY even remotely qualifies as significant.

You'd have thought they said 2-4 FEET from the reaction it's been getting. We'll probably just get flurries.

Nice here, supposed to stay in the 70's for the next few days. At least many folks from Texas and Alabama have been enjoying our weather here in L.A. this week leading up to tonight's big game at the Rose Bowl.

Today's my day off and I'll be pouring some concrete slabs in the back yard. I'll probably do some spare ribs for this evening and watch the game on tv.

21 here and snowing....might get up to 4 inches.

Multiply that by 2 and you'll get our forecast...........we get the clipper and the lake effect all rolled into one. lol This weekend is even going to be worse!

Our forecast may be wrong....it has been coming down pretty good outside!!! everytime I look out the window I am surprised! We'll see......

It looks so innocent and peacefully beautiful out there right now, snow is falling softly, but piling up rather quickly.

heres us right now....wish you could see the snow flakes better, they are a sight!

Speaking of weather, I suppose I should bundle up and get out to the store and join the panic gang for getting some stuff in lol
Everyone being affected by this, please be careful out there.
