What are you doing today?

I had to see an attorney today to grant me visitation rights to my own Granddaughters.
It's very complicated to explain, but their "Mother" hasn't allowed Ty or Felicia to have them for a long time.
It's a mess between a lot of other things going on, which HAS been going on for quite some time.
If you've noted a bit of my being edgy lately, that's why.

I'm hoping so.
Their Mom has done a complete turnaround over the last 6 months, now she's gay all the sudden?
She's been reportedly into drugs and doesn't have a job.
And she's accusing Felicia of being an illegal because she's half Hispanic 🙄
Honestly, I am not making this up.
I've known for years she's completely her rocker.
 
We had the lanai power cleaned and sealed this week. Today we got to put it all back together.

Feeling like I've been hit by a truck.
Last night was my first time on our new lock-down behavioral ward.
If it hadn't been for the excellent nurse aides, I would have lost it!
Some of those people need to be in a different type of facility.
Like a fool, I signed on for this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday in a row.
I texted the director this morning and told her if I'm back on that unit ever again... I'm DONE.

Anyway.. Happy Easter lol

I got the Costco chicken broken down and put the carcass to simmer on the hob. I snacked on the wings… boiled some eggs for tonight’s supper. She already changed her mind and we will have Tuna Ventresca (canned tuna belly) sandwiches

I have a hole in my right ear drum which a few days ago started draining fluid. It’s slowed down and if still doing it Monday will call the nurse advice line. There is no pain, just stuffiness.

I love my VA Health care. I moved from the San Francisco Bay area, to Joplin Missouri.
I can keep my VA. DR. from SF. We had a video appointment, yesterday, today, I was
instructed to go to the Joplin Clinic for a required shot. When I got back. Colonoscopy people called me, Closest
VA Hospital is 90 Miles away. They asked me if it would be ok, to use one of Joplin's hospital's? (Freeman or Mercy)
I am well taken care of.
They have a small VA Clinic here in Joplin. My longtime DR, from SF. Writes the orders, and
I'm well taken care of.

Excellent! My wife has had good care via zoom and phone calls.
 
I've been very busy today.
First had to go to the bank and wire $$$$ to my Granddaughter Kasey, so she could make her rent and car payment.
It's expensive to live in State College, PA lol
I was happy to help 😊

Then Jules, Pam and I ordered a floral arrangement for one the residents who passed away yesterday. I knew she was going to go Sunday morning before I left work.
I'm hoping to make it to the funeral home to say my last goodbyes.
I loved our little Judy 💕
They are all special, but I certainly have my favourites.
 
Nancy’s quilt, so far. In some squares she embroidered little things like bees, hummingbird, etc. She just said she had just a few squared to finish. This will be a walk hanging quilt, not a throw or bed quilt. She also said when this is done she will go back to painting. She designed it on computer and we made many trips to fabric and quilting stores for fabric.

Doctor did a deep suction through hole in ear drum. It didn't hurt but was noisy and felt weird. The drainage was puss from ear infection, although I never had pain. He dosed it with Floxin and will get more at pharmacy tomorrow. Afib has me drained although all my vitals were great. I'm eating peanut butter, ritz crackers, and a banana for supper.
 
I just received a long awaited envelope from Ireland, containing my grandparents' official birth certificates and marriage certificate! Now if the State of Michigan every gets me the ones for me, my dad, his marriage certificate, and his death certificate, I am sending my application for Irish citizenship. An Irish passport is an EU passport, so I will be able to go anywhere in the EU to live!
