They only elected him because he doesn't call himself American anymore. He nationalized as a Peruvian citizen many years ago.

Notice after his speech in Italian, he spoke in spanish to his Peruvian flock. Never mentioned the US.

I made the run to Costco and it was Friday/holiday busy but was able to find a close to the door parking spot, shopped, and got out in a timely manner. I got kosher hotdogs to grill with the burgers Sunday, and 5# of Costco potato salad. I may go back for their Italian salad Saturday. Nancy is going to find something in the freezer for dinner - two TJ’s English pub pies for me. Last night’s Trader Joe’s bulgogi was not very good. The taste was there but was tough chewing. My friend’s dogs would have loved it.
