I finally got around to eating that cat head biscuit and gravy Nancy brought me last week. The biscuit was hard as a rock but with a little water and 1.5 minutes in the microwave, it freshened up nicely. The sausage gravy was excellent and added a half cup of milk to thin it out.

My breakfast was crumpets from TJ’s with homemade low sugar strawberry jam. The crumpets are rubbery but then haven’t had one in decades.

The 2 times I've tried crumpets in my life I've experienced the same rubbery-ness. Maybe have to toast the heck out of them?

Karelian pasties---I had to look these up, to compare to the Finnish Pasty's of Upper
Peninsula of Michigan. I would be anxious to try one.

Those Finnish meat and veg pasties are different than I meant. The Karelian pasties are filled only with rice or potato.

I have problems to post link to that thread as it just shows the first post of it.

Stouffer's changed their Chipped beef cooking suggestion
from the boiling bag tgo Micro wave or oven. i've become
way more patient. I prefer the oven to Microwave.
Anyhow- I think the new packaging of Chipped Beef
is better. I'm thinking there is more meat & Gravy. W/
a nice glass of Tomato juice. Perfect Breakfast.
