Nix on the egg salad .... So instead, Tina fried leftover angel hair spaghetti in butter till it crisped up a little bit. It hit the spot. Yep! Right on the butt.
Mom used to make spaghetti sandwich sandwiches on buttered toast.

I pulled some l/o chicken enchiladas from the freezer...and made a batch of rice cooker Spanish rice....OMG! Hit the comfort-food spot. We'll sleep good tonight!

Tonight was a late supper at BarBistro after hospital visit to see our friend Ann. We had a cup of very good clam chowder, Nancy had the risotto with crab, and I had the rare Wagyu burger, and excellent as always.

I thought they were a little expensive at around $14 a box. I'm oretty frugal. But it's a 2 lb box. And the flavor and texture were outstanding so worth it.

They had sliders too.

I've had the smashburgers and they're good, but the steakburgers are better. Can't put my finger on it why, but both flavor and texture were slightly elevated. My Walmart only has the smashburgers.

Supper today will be spaghetti with meat sauce. Simple and quick. The kids will be trick or treating in a few hours. That is if the wind doesn't blow them away....
Lunch was a ham and cheese and leftover French onion soup.

In my opinion they're better than take out pizzas or those from frozen.
Right there at Walmart in the front of the store near the deli aka Marketside.

I love Long John Silvers Dan.
The nearest one is in Toledo.. well Maumee.
We have Captain D in Defiance, but it takes forever to get the food whether you go inside or use the drive-thru.

I just made a toasted cream cheese half bagel with fresh dill and everything bagel seasoning as a snack. I hadn't eaten today. My appetite coming back is a good sign.

I usually just take out how many we're eating that night to cook. I've never tried reheating them.
