95° and humid here. I'll be glad when fall gets here. This has been one HOT summer.

August through mid-September is the human part of the summer here. Can't remember the last time it rained here. With the humidity moving up from the South East we might rain shower. I can only hope. I love summer rain with thunder and lightning, it turns me on. If we have it here, It's very short-lived but I absolutely love thunder and lightning and rain not the rain part but the thunder there's something about it that just excites me. I think some of you could do without the rain and thunder but we get it so seldom hear that I really enjoy it.
 
I miss the thunder and lightening too. Weather is almost too perfect it's often boring.
But on the other hand I'm glad it hasn't rained here in months as I need a new roof.
 
HOT (90s) and getting hotter - triple digits by Tuesday or Wednesday. I saw folks lined up on the beach in Newport Beach watching the huge waves hit the shore. The surfers looked like they were having a ball. The riptides will be very strong here this weekend. Be careful. A few days ago we had a 4.3 earthquake. It felt like one big quick jolt. That's about it for the weather lol.

You & me both, Food. Still dealing w/ the aftermath of the rain damage from last winter.
 
430 in the morning here and I had to get up and look outside. I couldn't believe it. We had 5 minutes of rain, no thunder or lightning in 5 min. It was a pretty good downpour just enough to wash everything off

Funny, a couple of hours after I posted this yesterday we got a little teaser lightening and a few sprinkles.....lol...

I better start looking at shingles to buy.

Same on the Left Coast Phid very fall-like. Grape growers are VERY worried, not enough degree days to generate sugars in the fruit. There may be no wine this time.
 
It's supposed to warm up today to the low 70's. I thought the mountain was going to have snow on it when the clouds lifted yesterday! Darn close!
