What is Your Weather?

Yeah, but it's a little humid also FooD.
You're in the Valley so you're feeling it more. It's actually nice in the city.
Hope it stays this way as I'll be doing some concrete and block wall work in my backyard this weekend.

It's been a true scorcher, this summer. The hottest/driest summer on record...so our current temps (in the high 80's, low 90's) feels positively Fall-like by comparison. Today's high is estimated to be 90 degrees. Who knew I'd one day say 90 degrees feels fantastic? I never have been a fan of hot weather - but after a summer in the 100+ range, 90 is nice. Hee-hee!

I cannot wait for REAL Fall weather, though. Halloween is often too warm for most costumes/make-up/masks, 'round here. I would like a chilly end to October...please.

- Angel

PS: Could we also get lots-n-lots of rain, too?

:umbrella: I hear ya! Some rain would be very nice. Lots-n-lots of rain would be great. :umbrella:

BEAUTIFUL!!

It's a good thing that we had over an inch of rain a few days ago. Our first Santa Ana of the year is starting to blow. We've already had a few minor fires.

:clap:Yay! The first snow's a comin! Yippie!!!

Supposed to get some snow Saturday.
Rain changing to snow and accumulating a little.
They said 4 to 6 inches earlier, but that could change.
I'm just so glad the winter weather is here.

Tomorrow I will get the snow blower ready to go.
Always better to do things early.

The only bad thing, is there are still leaves on the trees. That plays heck on broken branches and power breaks of the wires.
I guess we just have to deal with it!

Tomorrow the prediction for Culpeper, VA, is "100% chance of snow". Yes, SNOW. In the 14 years we've lived here, we've NEVER had snow in October. Not even flurries. Frost, yes; Snow, no. I keep hoping someone will pinch me & this will be a dream.

I'll be spending the rest of today trying to make room to bring my tropicals from the deck inside. Not an easy or quick task. I'm SO pissed - lol!!!

52 here. where's the snow!
Was 34 here this morning... and the snow is on its way. Yay!
They are predicting 8" to 10" for Allentown, PA. That is just South and West of here, so I better get that snow blower ready this afternoon.

Tina is jumping up and down (only once haha) and she put her boots at the steps, and the second pair in the trunk of the car.

If it does materialize...I'm glad it will be on the weekend.

You are going to hate me later this winter. Today it is clear and sunny. Not a cloud in the sky. It's supposed to be 82 today. Beautiful fall weather, perfect for gardening.

All of this talk about snow, I just had to post this.

This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days
and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will,
in the future, likely think before she speaks.
What happens when you predict snow but don't get any!
We had a female news anchor that,
the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't,
turned to the weatherman and asked:
'So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?'
Not only did HE have to leave the set,
but half the crew did too they were laughing so hard!

AWESOME

Well, I just got done haying/watering horseys & fed & walked the hounds from hell, & it's FREEZING out. Can't believe it was near 70 yesterday, & last night I was feeding/walking in a t-shirt. Tonight I had a fleece sweatshirt on. Geesh. Now they're calling for a couple of inches here starting after midnight & going thru tomorrow night.

All I can say is that I have 3rd-row seats to see Anthony Bourdain Sunday night, & neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor dread of night is keeping me from that - lol!!

Sounds Great BeezyCooking

Have a great time shoveling the snow, and a greater time seeing Anthony on Sunday Night.

What! Me shovel??? I'll send my husband your regards while he's out there - lol!!!

And all I can say is that Anthony better not cancel on me, because I'll be there!!!

Snow will start tomorrow morning at 2 am. the heaviest at the evening period.
Son Jim is P,o'd . He has to go to a wedding in PA tomorrow.
It shouldn't be that bad....he only has to go like 15 miles and over the free bridge.
I'm sure NJ is ready for the snow. Yeah Right! hahahaha

I could tell it's gonna do something. The kitties are stuffing face like there is no end. They are all hunkered down in their hiding spots. L O L

Tell Anthony by E-mail you have lizard pudding for him to eat and try, and I'm sure he will be there. That guy will eat anything.

Well, I've been up since 2:30 this morning thanks to the rattling of sleet & ice pellets on the windows & skylights throughout the night. It just changed to all rain a minute ago & is "supposed" to switch over to snow later this morning. What fun! (Although it sure makes for a good excuse to kick back & watch Halloween horror movies on the tube all day! "Bride of Frankenstein" is on at the moment. . . .)

What happened to Halloween II? LOL

It's 38F and gray outside. No wet stuff of any kind yet but my joints are screaming so it will probably start soon.

Nah - we're fans of the old classics; especially the Universal & Hammer productions. No slash & gore need apply. The original "Halloween" was good, but the sequels (as with most sequels) were ridiculous.

The rain has changed back over to ice here - skylights are completely covered already. Yuck.

It's getting very windy. Supposed to get gusts up to 40 MPH. I hope our halloween decorations don't blow away.
