You're in the Valley so you're feeling it more. It's actually nice in the city.Yeah, but it's a little humid also FooD.
It's been a true scorcher, this summer. The hottest/driest summer on record...so our current temps (in the high 80's, low 90's) feels positively Fall-like by comparison. Today's high is estimated to be 90 degrees. Who knew I'd one day say 90 degrees feels fantastic? I never have been a fan of hot weather - but after a summer in the 100+ range, 90 is nice. Hee-hee!
I cannot wait for REAL Fall weather, though. Halloween is often too warm for most costumes/make-up/masks, 'round here. I would like a chilly end to October...please.

PS: Could we also get lots-n-lots of rain, too?
Was 34 here this morning... and the snow is on its way. Yay!52 here. where's the snow!

They are predicting 8" to 10" for Allentown, PA. That is just South and West of here, so I better get that snow blower ready this afternoon.
Tina is jumping up and down (only once haha) and she put her boots at the steps, and the second pair in the trunk of the car.
If it does materialize...I'm glad it will be on the weekend.
All of this talk about snow, I just had to post this.
This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days
and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will,
in the future, likely think before she speaks.
What happens when you predict snow but don't get any!
We had a female news anchor that,
the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't,
turned to the weatherman and asked:
'So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?'
Not only did HE have to leave the set,
but half the crew did too they were laughing so hard!
Sounds Great BeezyCookingWell, I just got done haying/watering horseys & fed & walked the hounds from hell, & it's FREEZING out. Can't believe it was near 70 yesterday, & last night I was feeding/walking in a t-shirt. Tonight I had a fleece sweatshirt on. Geesh. Now they're calling for a couple of inches here starting after midnight & going thru tomorrow night.
All I can say is that I have 3rd-row seats to see Anthony Bourdain Sunday night, & neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor dread of night is keeping me from that - lol!!
Tell Anthony by E-mail you have lizard pudding for him to eat and try, and I'm sure he will be there. That guy will eat anything. What! Me shovel??? I'll send my husband your regards while he's out there - lol!!!
And all I can say is that Anthony better not cancel on me, because I'll be there!!!
What happened to Halloween II? LOLWell, I've been up since 2:30 this morning thanks to the rattling of sleet & ice pellets on the windows & skylights throughout the night. It just changed to all rain a minute ago & is "supposed" to switch over to snow later this morning. What fun! (Although it sure makes for a good excuse to kick back & watch Halloween horror movies on the tube all day! "Bride of Frankenstein" is on at the moment. . . .)
