Supposed to get some light snow throughout the week.
Temps are going to climb into the 50s by next weekend.

Yup we're going to be in 50's end of this week also.
After all that snow, it's going to be a mess

I just went outside and measured - we have 27*F and seven inches of snow and it's still coming down. It's supposed to snow all day, and tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 32*. We don't usually get weather like this, so the cities have few plows and no salt trucks. We could be shut down tomorrow as well.

Snow in both Coastal and Cascade Mts. today. Rain and wind, lots of wind for us in the lower elevations today.

I think the weather channel said 11 states will be hit by this storm.
Our first snow of the season one day late!! It is 23F with a wind chill of 13F and it has begun snowing large numerous flakes and the wind has kicked up. It isn't supposed to stop according to the Red Weather channel Blizzard Alert (I HATE that loud buzzing sound that accompanies those alerts!) until 6 PM TOMORROW.
That's beautiful GG! It just barely covered the ground here. We're still getting a few flurries here and there. It's windy and COLD! It's supposed to get up into the 60's later this week. We don't have the equipment to clear roads here either. Fortunately, the wind has dried most of the pavement.

Thanks. I like looking at it, but not driving in it, since we can't prepare the roads to be safe. But DH wants to go build a snowman, so we may do this afternoon. But not before I make more spiced apple cider, so we can have a hot cider with apple brandy when we come back in

Well, we had a little snow today.
Hard to measure, it's blowing so badly. I figure about two feet at least.
The pix of the damage to the front of a house is my neighbor. Mine came through OK. Very windy last night, still is.
