I'm having a piece of the frittata made last night, and I've a medium sized Idaho potato that I'll cut into wedges, season and roast.

I didn’t have any sauce like I thought I had so I just sprinkled on some dry rub my friend gave me after I slathered it in mustard. I spritzed with apple cider vinegar.

Last night was leftover vegetarian “Shepard’s Pie” made with lentils and corned beef.
I think today I'll be making curried beef and vegetable soup.

I should have been more precise. We had leftover vegetarian pie with leftover corn beef on the side. The vegetarian dish my wife made for her and Peter for Sat. night. The corned beef was leftover from Friday night when I had salmon. The vegetarian pie was actually pretty good.
My biscuits were beautiful coming out of the oven. They were really doughy on the inside.

Sheesh, this soup is grand for being such a simple recipe, but by golly I'm glad I didn't add 2 tsp of curry powder like the recipe calls for.

Not to worry…. That’s nothing that can’t be fixed with gravy.
No, not sweet, Very heavy grained.
He brings me different breads he makes from time to time.
Cook's Country pickled shrimp, though I made a couple of changes. Instead of fennel seed and dill, I used some thin slices of fennel bulb and fronds since I had them, and I dropped the fennel and red onion slices in the hot vinegar mixture. We both really liked the shrimp. A new recipe for deviled eggs that needs a small tweak, but we both really liked as well. Green olives obviously. Alouette garlic and herb cheese spread with crackers. It was pretty good too.

We went for lunch at our favorite deli restro. I got my usual of a 9 oz corned beef sandwich on an everything bagel with fries and half sour pickles. Craig got a trkey, ham, cheese, bacon, etc., club with fries.
Our dinner will be the remaining halves of our sandwiches.
