Out to lunch with friend Christine to the Irish Cottage. Christine had bacon cheeseburger sliders and I had a massive turkey club, of which I ate half.

The "cottage fries" might be good if they were hot and crispy, but they were neither. Just as well.

Been keeping busy today so I'm thinking comfort food for dinner. Cheese and onion enchiladas with some freezer beans and I'll need to make a new batch of rice (l/o will head to the freezer).

I was craving a big juicy burger. Caramelized onions, melted gorgonzzola, toasted brioche bun, 6 oz ground chuck burger.

Judy only ate half (I ate the whole thing).

You didn't miss anything.
I woke up this morning knowing that pain was coming back, then it got worse.
Had the same thing last year only it was in the ball of my foot.
Feels like a shard of glass or a nail stuck in there when you try to walk.
It'll get better with rest and lots of ibuprofen.
I was supposed to work tonight and was looking forward to it.

Holy mackerel, Ginny, are you just noticing that now???? For maybe the last 10 years, black leggings have been ubiquitous. It seems as if EVERY woman is wearing them. And so many just should NOT.

Dinner was good. Just what we needed. On the leggings...I guess I just haven't noticed. Today, once I saw the first 3 in line, I couldn't stop seeing them! They were EVERYWHERE. DH thought it pretty odd too. Guess he hasn't noticed before either.
