Sous vide filet mignon from Hy-Vee with onions and mushrooms in garlic butter and bacon wrapped asparagus. I’m impressed with the meat department at HV.

Fritatta with bacon, ham, onions cooked in bacon grease, and Swiss cheese. Home fries cooked in some of the bacon grease plus some onion. We haven't had home fries in ages.

We sometimes grill asparagus spears, then wrap with very thinly sliced prosciutto, and dress with a very light EVOO and fresh lemon juice or white balsamic vinaigrette

My store finally got tots in stock – I got Bowl & Basket, onion-flavored tots/puffs. Dinner was shallow fried fish sticks, shallow fried tots, and roasted cauliflower (not pictured).

We did use whole milk but the recipe called for water and a can of tomatoes which thinned it down to much.

My cousin flew down from New Jersey for a weekend visit. I havne't seen her in a decade. I had to intorduce her to a southern classic. Shrimp 'n Grits! Mine are cajun style, with a little spice (not heat, just spice), mushrooms, bacon, scallions, etc.

Tonight I made blackened mahi mahi with mango lime salsa and grilled asparagus. Paired with an unoaked Chardonnay.

I used a couple pieces of their Broccoli,
I mixed it with mushroom, Celery, & more spinach. Vernors Ginger Ale.

Well since I'm famished I'm enjoying every bite of this lol
Bertolli Alfredo sauce (the best jarred IMO) bow tie pasta , added peas, some cooked ground beef - found in the freezer, and the little heel off my rye bread to make an itsy bitsy piece of garlic toast.
Yay! Delish!

I agree ! Bertolli is the best ; So is their Vodka sauce, since I can't seem to find Newman's any more...
