The "Breakfast" thread

this morning I invented. likely not true - likely this is on some fast food joint's menu - but we do so little fast food, nadda' klue....


fish tacos a while back. left over (wheat) tortillas.
fire up two pans - a cast iron to toast the tortillas and a non-stick for scrambled in the pan eggs....


plop a tortilla in to toast
crack an egg directly in the pan
as the white firm, break the yolk and stir together
flip the tortilla
scoop the scrambled egg onto the center of the tortilla
sprinkle with grated cheddar


remove from pan, roll up.


slated for a repeat . . .

I had the last of the corned beef and a couple pieces of potato for breakfast.

No cereal left on the shelves at store so making what we have last for hub and DD's.

I'm brunching on lefties (fried rice, zucchini, onion,cabbage, mushrooms and carrot).
Sliced little cuke and tomato.

Had two slices of Whole Wheat bread toasted, and buttered.

I had a buttered matzo for breakfast.

eggs, sunny side up (local farmers market)
hand grated hash browns, yellow potato (costco)
spam (2018 vintage, good year)
orange supreme (from neighbor)
coffee (local roast) with local cream

the spouse woke up before me and ate a breakfast bar

Brunch-
I fried a ham steak, topped with slices of swiss, then placed in pan toasted flour tortillas.
My favourite iced coffee too.

Tina mommy made scrambled eggs and cheese. Had pillsbury blue tube dinner rolls with it.

Leftover beef vegetable soup from the freezer, and the remaining croissants from last night.

Be daring like me and just throw something together

This might look a little strange, but super tasty.
When I use to drive truck, I would always stop
at Pur 5 Truck Stop in Toledo Ohio. They served
their omelets with brown gravy over the top.
Here it is Ham and /cheese Omelet, w/ Gravy.
Coffee & Tomato Juice.

Fresh asparagus, grated Parmigiano Reggiano & Pecorino Romano cheeses and egg scramble (I had a few bites) and fresh pot of coffee.

Sausage, egg and cheese biscuits.

Sausage; egg fried, and cheese on a soft Thomas' Toasted Plain Bagel.
Choke Choke Choke.... on the dry no name brand sausage . Bland and no flavor.
They were the brown and serve sausage links.

I only recently learned about baked beans as a breakfast item. It was on a youtube channel beardmeetsfood.

Looks good. I'm going to try baked beans with breakfast probably today.
