Jeff and I were going to go to The Barn and have early Thanksgiving dinner this evening, but he asked if we could do brunch instead, so we went to Hills family restaurant. I had French toast and bacon with scrambled eggs, he had pancakes and double sausage.
He's leaving soon to go see his Dad, then heading to State College,PA tomorrow night.
I'll probably just pick around for dinner, because tomorrow Jules and I are feasting in the afternoon before work.

Grind it how?
My folks had one of the old grinders you attached to the kitchen table. I found one at an antique fair but no clue what happened to either one. We have a meat grinder for our Kitchen Aid as well as a thing she uses, I don’t.

I had one of those, too. My mother used it for hash and for ham salad. I have a grinder attachment on my KitchenAid, but I just use my small food processor to grind up the meat. Potatoes are ground up, too. Makes for a great big hash patty that crusts up beautifully.

As I recall, John, you said that you weren't a fan of crust on hash.

Did I? Nancy uses her food processor for ham salad and “meat spread”, too.

Tonight's supper was use it up cabbage day by Tina making stuffed cabbage's. She made 7 pumpkin pie's and 6 pans of lasagna for tomorrow. DD will make apple pies later tonight when she gets out of work at 8:00 + prepping veggies ready to cook tomorrow thanksgiving.
