I haven't made this in years, but I did today. Really good! I added tiny shells to the soup. And used Tony Cachere's instead of Emeril's essence.

I saw Emeril make it and he tossed a handful of rosemary popcorn on top of the soup. That's what I did the first time, but the broth made the popcorn soggy. So I had it on the side this time.

The soup is very good. The rosemary popcorn is excellent!

I've been dying for a good soup. This looks delicious. Do the shells hold up if stored in the soup?
 
Supper was that salmon steak I baked the other night. I don’t remember how long it was in freezer but will say it was good as fresh, even after being reheated in microwave…. Veg was good, too. I have halibut in freezer and will use this recipe with it soon.
