Bumping this up....

It's 12ºF out at 12:19 AM this first day of February 2015.
At least is not as windy as it was last night at this time!
I will be watching the weather reports to see how much (if any) snow we will get Sunday night into Monday Afternoon. We are praying for at least a foot. Yay!
We got cheated with the last storm prediction.

Oh! Well!.... Just have to sit and wait and see what happens!

was above 15, last i saw.:picnic: that was yesterday, tho. meant to put that we've got scads of ice on pavement, & a dab of snow. enough to put my 1 tighter-fitting gray pair of wellies on. not enough, tho, to fret or panic & buy 70 gallons of pop & 500 cans of soup.

Rather cool out at 7º this early morning. Supposed to dip to 3º by 6 am.
Windy out with WNW swirls hither and yawn.

Love Love Love the cold. Kills the Germs ya know!! LOL... Mom always said that.

This is Pancakes and sausages for breakfast kind of weather. Lots and Lots of butter and syrup....and then lay on the couch because the syrup and butter works to kick up the tummy a bit! LOL

It’s about 32° down here in Lower Alabama this morning and the lows are predicted to be like that for the next tow or three days. That’s way too cold to even think about going to the beach. We do get thousands of “Snow Birds” down here each winter and I’m sure that some of them will be at the beaches sometimes today since it will warm up into the mid 50’s. Some of them will think that, that is warm enough. Us old Southern Folks know better……………

Santa Ana winds the last couple of days and temps in the 80's. We have a beautiful clear blue sky with light winds so far today. Temperature will be in the 80's again.

Today 62°, sunny with slight breeze. Tomorrow weather dude is calling for high of 72°. Tuesday will be different. Calling for snow and sleet. Low 30° high 45°. I don't know maybe wear shorts or overcoat? CF

9 right now. 4-7 inches of blowing whiteout with 40 mph winds this afternoon. Zero for a high Sunday with -15 Sunday night. Wind chills to -40. Schools have been cancelling when it is that cold.

Well, it IS Winter, so it's gonna get cold tonight & Sunday, with the Lake Erie Snow Machine cranking out 2-4" of the white stuff. Just another weekend in NE Ohio.

Went to Kohl's last night with Mama (had a 30% off coupon) and bought 4 shirts and two pairs of walking shorts for our trip to Punta Cana in a couple of weeks. I lost 50 pounds from June to November last year, so none of my old Summer clothes fit any longer. Besides, I gave them all away as I lost weight and changed sizes, so I wouldn't be tempted to backslide and have clothes of larger sizes in reserve. Can hardly wait to wear my Speedo on the beach :yum:

JoeV be sure to take at least one warm outfit with you and a jacket or sweat shirt. The beach can be deceiving. My sister went on a golf trip to Cancun several year ago. It turned out to be very cold. All of the stores were carrying summer wear. She and her husband were the only ones that were warm because as she told the rest of the group, I grew up on the beach.

Waiting for some snow! We got jipped last time.
It's only 22 out, and it's snowing lightly. The road crews are spreading salt, and just making ice. Go home, and let some snow fall so we can get traction.

wind chill is in negative mid-twenties & below. i put on a hat & my boots & went on my way. several times. i luv wintertime so.

2 degrees here and windy. Had a light snow then blizzard with very low visibility yesterday around dinner time. Didn't last long and snow stopped soon after the blizzard, so main roads appear to be clear now.

The disadvantage of living in NE Ohio and in the snowbelt. Lol
We got about 6 inches of snow last night. Blizzard conditions here also. It is now -5 and a wind chill of -22, so far!

Just came in from trying to move the silly 2 - 3 inches of snow, and as I threw it, it just blew right off the dump pile and back on the driveway.
DD came to help, and she said why don't you use the snow blower dad.

Because the shoot blows it into the wind and blows it right back. The snow is too darn light.

Tonight it's supposed to dip to -5ºF .... No wind....Good! That kills the germs.
I'm loving it!.....

Well, you've probably heard about what we've been going through in the Northeast.

The snowbank out my front windows is almost up to the gutters now - I cannot see out my windows. I took a photo of it from my chair the other night, before this last blizzard.

Just took a photo out my back door - no shoveling going on there. Nice to see the sun. The window boxes are on top of a chainlink fence.
