I'm thinking spinach salad and ...? Going to be hot so who knows.
There is an Asian grocer near me (HMart). They have multiple fresh mushroom varieties and you can buy a mix. I gathered some chantarelles, lions mane, wine caps, etc. from the market.Saved the filling recipe to use in some pierogi for Christmas - thanks!
What did you use for wild mushrooms, Kathleen? Do you have your a.c. back??

John.... I have the same Afib It sucks when it kicks in. i am always exherted and tired when walking or trying to move around. 7 Stents and thinners and elequis helps a lot. I can't have any alcohol, but when Momma is not looking, I will have a little wine. I always get caught though.I don’t know that I mentioned it but have afib (and low grade CHF) which started in February. I’m worn out all the time, short of breath, and don’t feel like doing much of anything. I’ve had wine and a few old fashioned but understand alcohol doesn't help. I’ve cut back on caffeine, as well, and mix coffee grounds half and half. Wednesday I go in for a chemical cardioversion and hope it works. The cardiologist never addressed the CHF when I saw him last week. All my bloodwork was fine except that which is affected by taking eloquis. There you go… I’d still like a grey goose.
This will last me a while.
This time, I got orange chicken, peanut butter chicken, the beautiful fried fish, lo mein, crab rangoons and chicken and broccoli.

Im envious! We have a lot of Thai down here, but almost no Chinese. And what little there is, is all similar to Panda Express - goopy, greasy, carry out..This will last me a while.

Hong Kong and China Garden are both pretty good. Panda Express is ok, but Chopsticks Express once made me very ill lolIm envious! We have a lot of Thai down here, but almost no Chinese. And what little there is, is all similar to Panda Express - goopy, greasy, carry out..
What I wouldn't give for a good egg foo yung. I've never been successful at making it, either.

It all looks ok, except for that over-done, dry steak.
Artichokes were on sale at Winco, so tonight we're having steamed artichokes and shrimp cocktail.
I too am envious of those that have good Chinese restaurants nearby. SW Washington is much like @SilverSage's Florida. The Thai places can be excellent. The Chinese places serve, "Chinese food for Americans."![]()
The steak was thin cut and actually a medium rare. I didn’t expect it to be top shelf. It all looks ok, except for that over-done, dry steak.
Your executive Chef son would have had a fit.
