Well! Today will be leftover soup from yesterday for lunch.
Dinner plans were to be eating at Bob Evans before a concert this evening.
I won't be going, not with us being under flood warnings, winter storm watches, high winds etc up until midnight. An hours drive away.
Grrr

Looks as if many of us had seafood for a Lenten Friday dinner last night. Me,too!

I wanted a single bulkie roll for my Budweiser - battered fish sandwich, but the store was out of them (pre-storm madness), so I just had some of my father's white bread.

Stole Sass' idea of broccoli slaw with lite ranch dressing. Good, but needed some fat, so I'll add a spoonful of mayo to leftover slaw.

I looked up the menu. What are "jos"? https://www.2121pub.com/menu

Joes are deep fried russet potatoes. We thought they were using old oil. I’m not a fry cook but there were to dark and smelled strongly of grease. The onion rings were not bad but her French fries were dark and limp. I brought them home but debating on whether Im going to eat them. I was thinking of chopping them up for fried potatoes. The fish was just okay. At the top right of the picture you can just see the French fries and how dark they are.
