Recently in my travels I am seeing a lot of the restaurants from the Midwest to the east coast giving you a code to scan with your phone and pay right at the table. Handy. ​

Publix had roasted garlic Tuscan bread on sale so I decided to use up some of the Italian sausage in the freezer. Toasted the bread, a slice of fresh mozzarella, Italian sausage sliced in half lengthwise, a little more marinara, and another piece of mozzarella, then in oven until cheese melted, then topped with another slice of toasted bread. Ended up being a knife and fork sandwich, but not bad at all.

Tonight we had Pierogi's and leftover fried cabbage from the other day.
Tina made an apple Betty; so I'll have that later for dessert.
Maybe a chocolate cupcake that DD made.
