I absolutely loved the KMart sub sandwiches. Sometimes, I would put a layer of crispy potato chips on it. Perfection.

When we moved to "the City", Mom worked at the W.T. Grant Lunch counter.. their "Subs" (What we call an "American hoagie These days) we 29 cents... She'd bring one home for my dinner, while she got ready for her night job, waitress in a Tavern.
