The "Breakfast" thread

.Had to fight the urge for a Diner Breakfast today (Budgetary concerns, due to loss of 1/2 of monthly income...:kabob: but the budget won out, and I soiled the stove instead.....
This time I softened the onions on their own, rather than fried with the spuds..... much better result !

Three-egg Southwestern Scramble (Onions, Sweet Pepper, Mexican Four-Cheese Blend) and Fried Yukons...
No Bread For Me !

I had Breakstone cottage cheese with the little side cup of stir in fruit.
I was tempted to hit McDonald's agaaaain!

LOL How did you know?
I cooked this whole breakfast in the
Bialetti Titan Nonstick pan- The bacon Crisped up
real easy. I used the air cooker to cook bacon-that works great too, but causes a bit of smoke. Adding a little water to the bottom of the air fryer
reduces the smoke. I will always use the Titan pan for bacon from now on.
Just as good as a skillet, but not as heavy, and easier to clean.
 
gottta have cantaloupe & oui-- drank an organic horizons milk & an outshine popsicle then went & took that nap--
got my dear joel to luv oui--
he bought 5 of them~~
luv 'em--
not to mention that those jars can easily be put to use 4 storing different items, once u was 'em--
 
Last night Nancy only ate a 1/4 of her pho so I heated it up for breakfast and added a couple of eggs to poach. The Infant of Praha looks on.

It was a different breakfast and glad to not have it taking up room in the refer. The eggs were my idea.

My brother and his husband just got back a trip to CZ, Hungary, Austria, and Germany. He sent the Infant of Prague to me as a travel gift. Praha is the Czech pronunciation of Prague.
 
Eggies in the hole again.
I had to walk across the Avenue to the service station to grab my morning Joe.
We're out of K-cups.
Horrors!

I love chip beef on toast and on't remember when I've had it - over 40 years? We used to get it from the local locker plant, in house made, and the best.

Here is my breakfast from yesterday; had a can that expired so fried it up with scrambled eggs. :readytoeat:

The Warden gave me an Egg Poacher for my Birthday last year. I used it that morning, but not since then... Today was a good day to do it again. Four months ago , seems like four years....
