Dinner thread Sunday, Nov. 23 - Saturday, Nov. 30

I couldn’t wait for Thursday. I turned a Turkey Leg into Turkey Soup. I also made a salad. I’m stuffed.

Today was Dr. day. Tina did a virtual and I did a personal visit and dear Son took me.
We got loads of steroids and anti biotics. I have residual upper infection, and Tina has full bloom. It's only a cold , and Dr. Didn't want to hear that.
Tina had some soup. I am waiting for DIL and DD to do the prepping. We will will rely on the girls to do the cooking. It's gonna be a poop show as soon as Maria gets home from work. Two cooks in the kitchen is not a good idea for the holiday.

Awww, Jimmy, so sorry that you and Tina feel crummy, especially now. Good that you have family members who can and will cook for you!

Feel better soon!

Made all the usual suspects but added a few things (cream cheese, shredded cheese, bacon) to the fresh green bean casserole.

Everything came out great, but after tasting so many things, by the time we sat down to eat, I was not very hungry. Glad Kathy and I both love the leftovers, and I told my boss I'd be bringing him a plate of them as well.

This is extra stuffing with Mom's chicken wings on top for rendering. Don't know why the photo is washed out - the wings were golden brown.
