What's On The Plates? Sunday April 27 - Saturday May 3 2025

What I'm really liking about this, is the fact there is no sauce involved.
It's simply little romano and ricotta stuffed tortellini, Italian ground sausage with 3 cloves of mince garlic, a handful of fresh spinach thrown in the pan to cook down, then I sprinkled on some Kraft parm, that I always keep on hand for popcorn.
It's not beautiful or WOW, but it's delicious.

I made stuffed vine leaves today. I had been debating between making this, Thai rice, or schnitzel, and somehow the vine leaves won. It’s not something I usually make or even have, but I really do love it. It’s quite time-consuming though, so probably not the best choice for a busy day. I remembered to take a picture—only after half of it was already gone.

I'm making Mushroom, Spinach & Pesto Lasagna with Fontina Cheese. I haven't made it in a long time and I'm glad I chose a deep pan for it! I've also made a salad and we'll have garlic toast too.
Good meal! The toast got a tad dark, but not quite as dark as the picture makes it look. And there's plenty for future freezer meals!

Looks great, Muffcake! When you have a chance, would you please post your recipe in the Ethnic forum?
