I made duck breast with a cherry gastrique. Grilled asparagus and leftover carrots.
Judy said she’d do the dishes and here’s what happened.

I've been guilty of pulling a Judy with a plate before.

Beef pot roast with lots of carrots, mushrooms, potatoes and chopped as well as pearl onions, plus some garlic cloves. Leftover bread from last night.

We are stirring up with colds here too. I ran my course, and just dealing with the
drip and red nose sniffles.
The grand kids were sick, and they were here last week; so we know where the germs came from.

Today was a garden salad, and then string beans cooked with tomato sauce, with onions and olive oil.

No recipe really, just kind of a technique. I'll write something up. They are quite simple.

Besides leftover soup, DD cooked burgers on the grill, and shrimp.
I just had to have a burger, and 3 huge shrimp.

The pasta was bucatini and red sauce was made with our home canned marinara and added faux burger crumbles. The wine was an Argentine Malbec and superb.

That pasta dish looks great, John, but one that I think I would splatter sauce all over my shirt when I ate it.
