It’s the same with me and one of my Canadian buds is experiencing the same thing... I’ve been up the past three nights at 0300 then can’t get back to sleep. Last night I was able to will myself back to sleep and feel much better today.I haven't been getting much sleep lately. Been up since 3am. Two days in a row so far I have gotten about 2 hours sleep. No clue what we will be eating. I didn't even eat dinner last night because I felt sick to my stomach and tired.

I mean- I’m in Wisconsin. That’s all we eat in FebruaryDinners all look wonderful, folks!
Mark, I can't get over the fact that you smoke briskets to make chili! You must really love chili!
I adore sliced brisket hot, reheated, cold right out of the fridge. I can't get enough of it when I smoke one, maybe once a year. Wouldn't think of making chili out of that ambrosia! Also, it costs a fortune here!

I know it might be a bit overboard, but my goal is for my guests to walk away wowed. Important guest is coming tomorrow. Someone asked me why I wasted brisket in my chili. I said because I want my chili to be the absolute best it can be. Lol ?![]()

That is a turban squash. I use them to make my ”pumpkin” pie from scratch, too. This squash and acorn are my favorites. I like Hubbard squash, too, but are rarely seen for sale.I love all kinds of winter squash. What is the name of that funny-looking squash, John?
