What's on the menu Sunday, 3/7/2021 to Saturday, 3/13/2021?

Open face sandwiches made with the sous vided roast beef, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, and swiss cheese. Smashed small yukon golds that had been steamed then fried.

I haven't been getting much sleep lately. Been up since 3am. Two days in a row so far I have gotten about 2 hours sleep. No clue what we will be eating. I didn't even eat dinner last night because I felt sick to my stomach and tired.

It’s the same with me and one of my Canadian buds is experiencing the same thing... I’ve been up the past three nights at 0300 then can’t get back to sleep. Last night I was able to will myself back to sleep and feel much better today.

Today is still the leftover quiche and enchiladas for dinner. They need to go.

tomorrow I’m grilling lamb chops and will bake a squash that has been in the garage to long.

So sorry you’re having a problem. My problem is due to my hubs accident and related issues. My mind can’t turn off. Pain issues also doesn’t help.

Breakfast something is a breakfast pizza.
I used Pillsbury ready made crust, Bob Evans sage sausage, 4 eggs/milk, cheese blend.
Burnt the crust a bit, plus the egg mixture shifted apparently while putting it in the oven. Lol
It's good though.
I need a new pizza pan! ?

Dinners all look wonderful, folks!

Mark, I can't get over the fact that you smoke briskets to make chili! You must really love chili!

I adore sliced brisket hot, reheated, cold right out of the fridge. I can't get enough of it when I smoke one, maybe once a year. Wouldn't think of making chili out of that ambrosia! Also, it costs a fortune here!

I mean- I’m in Wisconsin. That’s all we eat in February :ROFLMAO:

I know it might be a bit overboard, but my goal is for my guests to walk away wowed. Important guest is coming tomorrow. Someone asked me why I wasted brisket in my chili. I said because I want my chili to be the absolute best it can be. Lol ?‍♂️

LOL, I was wanting to be polite and not use the word "waste"! Well, your chili absolutely WILL be the best for your important guest!

I rarely see turban squash unless it's right at harvest time.

No idea what's on for dinner tonight.
I need to shop, then go order flowers at the florist for Roberta.

You are correct, harvest time is the only time I see them.
We got two last November and decided it was time to
get this one out of the garage before it went bad.

Tonight I am grilling a king salmon fillet and will have fries
on the side.

Again, so sorry for the loss of your friend.
