I was on my own this afternoon and made two big Nathan dogs with a half bottle of Metropolitan Market white table wine.
Meatballs today.

I made exactly 9 meatballs from 1lb of ground beef. Brushed them with teriyaki sauce.
Then I thought I had 1/2 head of cabbage in the crisper, but didn't, so I sautéed some cabbage slaw mix in sesame oil.
Honey butter baby carrots on the side.

But I forgot to add the croutons I made yesterday. *sigh* Just as well.

We had the same thing yesterday. We had Chinese, and the items had different textures and tastes. They had new owners, and I guess that is what happened.
Tonight, we had Codfish cooked in a butter and wine sauce. A small sweet potato with melted butter drizzled on top.

I was going to have leftovers from yesterday, but have decided to use the meatballs for a future recipe.

Inspired by Sass's cabbage dish, I picked up a package of slaw mix and some green onions. I'm going to make a cheater Mu Shoo Chicken dish. That is, IF I get my kitchen back in time. Oven is currently sitting in the middle of the kitchen, awaiting the repair guy's return with proper parts. Sigh.

I overlapped them in order to make it work. Lol

Today Nancy and Ann are going to Salem, OR to quilt and staying overnight. I'm on my own with leftover roast beef.
I decided to get lunch at Agave.

I went for the taco salad in a shell.
There is grilled chicken, cilantro lime rice, queso, lettuce, onion and pico.
Chips and salsa too.
