What We're Eating Sunday November 26 -Saturday December 2

Got my Chinese.
I ate some of it and will have the rest later.
This time I got crab stuffed mushrooms and all my usuals.

This was pretty easy to put together.
I didn't follow a specific recipe per se, I winged it based on looking at several recipes on TOH, and one of those DIY recipes.
It's 1 lb of ground beef and a medium onion chopped, brown the beef and onion, then drain.
Add 2 c of low sodium beef broth, 1 15oz can of diced tomatoes, basil, a little salt and pepper, I added about 1/2 c of frozen peas and carrots and cubed cheddar cheese to melt.
It's delicious and cozy, brothy and cheesy.
I gave some to Pat next door.
She gave me her official seal of approval and once again said "how do you just make stuff??" 🤣

Edit to add; I also added elbow macaroni, about 1/2 cup.

My Grandpa GG loved pickled pigs feet.
They came in a jar, that much I do remember.
One time he said come here Sis, try this.
When he told me what they were, I went running out the back door 🤣
I might like them if I tried them now.
I was like 8 years old.
He was always teasing me about everything.

They still come in a jar- Usually in the isle with
canned meat. But yes, I am interested in other
Ways of eating them.
