It's 12:15 PM...and 51º already. Raining though!

What a difference between yesterday and today. Yesterday it was sunny and warm at 82 degrees with a few wispy clouds. Light breezes. Today it is 67 and overcast with a fairly strong wind. It is a crazy winter. My Chinese magnolia tree is in full bloom, my iris are blooming and so are my daffodils.
 
Sittin here waitin for a few inches of snow flurries.

Got a bet with my ghost that we get zilch / nada / Nut Ting.

They say heavy 40 to 50 MPH wind gusts.
They are calling it a Activity ???? Activity ??? Geeeze... what time's the dance starting? ..... Activity Shmactivity!! Haaaaaaaa
 
Okay. Current weather predictions for us include tomorrow & Wednesday temps 65 degrees or above; possibility of SNOW on Saturday.

Can you say "BIZARRE"???
 
Saturday was warm with winds up to 70 MPH in places below the canyons. Today temps will be in the high 60'd to low 70's. No wind and no fires. We were on red flag alert all weekend.

low of 35. cloudy this afternoon & not as chilly as it is now, tho plenty of sunshine this morning. it was really pretty.
 
Right now it is 53 degrees with a clear sky and no wind. It's supposed to get up to high 60's to low 70's.
 
pretty steady snow earlier, slushy looking, a few flurries. only a few flakes stuck. already gone, most of it.
 
It's been grey, cold, & raw all day, with a back-&-forth in-&-out rain/ice pellet mix that's supposed to turn to all snow later on tonight/overnight. What fun!

Hard to believe it was sunny & 72 degrees just a few days ago. . . .
 
It was an absolutely georgous day today. Clear, sunny, with a light breeze in the lower 70's. After my bromeliad club meeting (which is at the garden center) my daughter and I went over to my plots and we worked for a couple of hours. So many things are in bloom right now and it's only February. What happened to our winter?

it was warmer but i got woken up to this early this morning....bad audio and video as it was on my phone.... we had some flooding and nasty clean up afterwards.

Temperature is dropping, and it's getting pretty chilly.

Bams, Houston is notorious for flooding. I think they've sucked everything out of the ground, and the city is ssssiiiiinnnnkkkking.
 
Today it is clean and around 69 right now. It will warm up. My apricot and peach trees are starting to bloom.
 
It "was" sunny & 50 degrees today. Hubby took the day off & we had a nice breakfast out followed by running errands & stopping at new shops we'd never been too. Saw a Bald Eagle chasing & trying to breakfast on a crow this morning on our way out (crow got away). All in all, a very nice fun day.

But all good things must come to an end. Cloudy now with temps dropping, & supposed to get rain mixed with snow tonight into at least mid-morning tomorrow. And then Sunday it's supposed to be quite cold & blustery. So made sure we stocked up on lots of goodies so we don't have to go out. :)
 
Weather?? What weather?

We are supposed to get an Inch of snow... One Whole Inch...OMG That's not enough..

Come on Ma Nature... We need a 12" inch Dump, like Tonight!

Wind is whippin up here..and we had squalls of snow. Just ground cover but streets may become icy later with 14º overnight temps.

Sunday will not be snowy, but will be cold and windy.

I'm tuned to the weather channel and the local weather channel now.
 
Ok my weather is not cold like others but its 47* lol

This coldness & strong winds make working outside hell and sales slow. Not a good Mardi Gras so far :(

thanx, jimmy.:D i snoozed thru it 'cept it stuck! salted the stairs/main porch b-4 my 'nap'. we're under an advisory. 14 now.
 
It's been fairly brutal here temp-wise the past 24 hours - especially since we've gotten used to the mild winter. Temps last night were below 20 with 40 mph winds making an extremely wind chill. Today it's yet to go above freezing - even with the sun out - & night temps are supposed to be same as last night. Ugh!
