What is Your Weather?

We had another round of drenching storms today.
It's going to be cooler for a few days now.
When I went shopping, the main street that they've been working on was flooded in spots.
I hope the city gets that fixed soon!

Looks like the remnants of Beryl will miss us.
Heavy rain tomorrow though. 🌧️

We got a lot of heavy rain overnight from Beryl.
At 2am I could hear it.
East Toledo has a lot of trees down and flooding.
It's tracking up into Canada, but we're still getting rain and maybe thunderstorms tonight.

We had a severe storm come through around 2:30.
I knew there were warnings out, but holy cow.
The temp dropped 20 degrees in an hour.
Right now it's moved to south Cleveland, where they're getting really hammered.

Cool and beautiful days here.
Turned off the central air last night, opened the windows and woke up freezing lol

Ty and Felicia travelled to the outer banks, kid-free- enjoying the weather and the beach.
☺️

We're beginning to feel the remnants of the hurricane.
Strong winds all day and maybe a few showers.
I've got my windows open letting it blow through.
Feels nice 🙂
We're gonna get rain,, predicted four days straight...
Don't know what system is gonna bring it, but it's already starting...

Took a look ; Yup ! it's the remains of Helene, here AND there, Sass !
Map won't post here... I'll post it on FB chat ...

Hi! I'm here, and safe. We live on high (31 ft elevation) ground, so we came through safely. We had power and internet outages, but everything is back up now.

Unfortunately, many of our friends were flooded out. Some areas here are devastated, even though the eye stayed offshore from us. Many roads and bridges are still shut down, two days later. Lots of power still out.

As a second note, my brother and his family in Asheville, Black Mountain, and Lake Lure North Carolina are in worse shape. The Lake Lure dam failed; the Swananoa River in my nephew's backyard overflowed its banks; and the French Broad River innundated most of Asheville and Biltmore VIllage. They still have no power, and so many trees down and flooding that they can't get out. But they are all alive and safe.

Good to hear from you, Kathy - thanks for the report!

So glad to hear all are safe. I’ve got family in the Cape Coral area and haven’t heard anything from them yet
