My very nice nextdoor neighbour was going door to door giving us kohlrabi bulbs and cucumbers.
I'll have to think of a recipe for the kohlrabi.
Probably roasted.
He and his wife shared corn and other garden vegs with us in the past.

I used to cook kolhrabi all the time growing up. For the life of me, I can't remember how I did it!
I found a recipe.
I thought it rather odd that the tops were missing. Lol

I've been looking everywhere for kohlrabi for a couple of weeks. BTW, I've posted a couple of recipes for it on NCT, roasted I believe.

Looks delicious! How do you make the Roll ups?
Simply buy three or four slices, a click or two thicker than normal,
roll each one up with a slice of cheese, arrange on the plate,
slide into microwave and hit "Melt" ...
watch it closely -Different cheeses melt differently (I left these in about 12 seconds too long)
Remove from microwave and complete the plating with the other stuff...

Yuk. Sometimes a plan doesn't come together.

We were at the farm market this week, and saw these. It looked like an easy meal after a busy day. Instructions said cook covered in a small skillet with 2 Oz of butter, then remove the lid and brown for 4 minutes.

My homemade pesto was good, sliced black garlic was good. But the gnocchi were tough, chewy, greasy, and heavy. Don't buy them!!!
