Well, well, well...I found a container of leftover minute steak with mash and gravy in the freezer.
I'll have that, with little corn nibblers.
Yay ! Happy to see that I'm not the only one who brings his own steak knife,,,We went to Toscano’s without reservations, had to sit outside, and it was very nice. We’d never used their covered patio before.
I had the ribeye with mushrooms and a side of prawns. Nancy had one of the specials - Vietnamese Duck Ragu which she loved.

Everything turned out great. DH says it is, "very, very good." I liked it too...and all very easy.Dinner will be a couple of new-to-me recipes...it will start with a recipe I spotted this morning, Healthy Creamy Garlic Pasta, touted as an easy, 20-minute 1-pot recipe. With that, we'll have Best Garlic Butter Steak Bites - although I'm using a Rib Eye Cap Steak, 'cuz I have it and like it.... I'll make a simple salad to round out the meal.
Delish!Chicken stir-fry today![]()
Delish!
I made my own sauce with ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger and garlic. It was just the right thickness.
The vegs are Great Value made for stir-fry.
I used chicken breast cut up ,pan fried in sesame oil.
Added some cashews at the end.

Good meal and we enjoyed the bread too.I have one more Cap Steak and I'm thinking it is huge, I'll throw it on the que and we can split it. I'll make a couple of air fryer baked taters, oven roasted zuke and I've already got a loaf of Herb & Cheese Quick Bread in the oven. That last one is new-to-me...so we shall see!?![]()
I made some delicious pineapple meatballs at one time.I'm making an easy dinner tonight. Pineapple Meatballs, Jasmine rice and a salad. The "easy" part on the meatballs is that I will use Aidell's Teriyaki & Pineapple meatballs and add that to my pineapple sauce. Right now, I'm working on a batch of ice cream...or the ice cream machine is working on it.![]()
My recipe is a very old recipe...from my very first cookbook, an early edition of the Betty Crocker Cookbook. The real name is Waikiki Meatballs. When I make the meatballs myself, I bake them instead of frying.I made some delicious pineapple meatballs at one time.
Loved them.
I have the recipe on here somewhere.
I can't find the dinner thread where I posted the results lol
