Yes. I made everything without any shortcuts. I was also intending to make some string beans but ran out of energy.
But...there are 12 days of Christmas. Oh! Well, the fella grilled the chops for me.

The Ukrainian/Polish market has hand made dolmas. I should get some to try, maybe for NYE.

Actually the leftovers were pretty good with plum sauce, habanero jelly, and topped with siriacha sauce.

Today will be make a lasagna day. A NO fake way... My granddaughter and My way. Regular noodles and NO chopped meat... ( Period ).Regular, instead of those those no boil flat ones. I just boil the curly sided noodles to be able to cut, and cut them to fit them in the pan. Only the cheese, and the sauce. The meat. ( Ground beef ) in the lasagna, is like eating a mouth full of pencil erasers... IMO. Tina will make whoever's how they like it. I prefer mine with sausage on the side in a separate platter, or meatballs. Oh well, to each their own I say.
I'm going put these ham slices in the oven, basted with the sauce.
I'll have Stouffers scalloped potatoes and asparagus on the side.
Should be enough leftover for days.

Yesterday we got a Cook’s ham at WinCo, she has two Smithfield ham slices and a ham from Poland in the refrigerator and no idea when we will have any of it.
I specifically looked for Reese ham glaze at the stores and couldn't find it.
So Ty told me to baste it lightly in a good barbecue sauce.

I have that same brand ham in my fridge. It's just hickory smoked, no brown sugar (they only had plain smoked). Didn't make it on Christmas. So will be used for New Year's.
I believe I paid $11 for that package.
I put the sliced ham in the oven to heat, then brushed it with the sauce. Delicious.

@QSis It is a gallon of oil, but the fryer has a filtration system that allows the oil to be used multiple times. He also has a very fine mesh filter that he can use to strain the oil further, if needed. It's a good sized fryer because he wants to make wings for family and friends when we play board games or watch football. Today was a trail run. A pound of tots barely lined the bottom of its basket. Both the shrimp and the tots fried in about 3 to 3.5 minutes. The oil heat stayed pretty solid. And it does not weigh a lot. He is pleased.
Please post a picture of his wings when he does them! Delonghi is a great brand, in my experience.

Lee, the best part is that he filled it to the "max line" and, after cooking, it remains at the max line. So it keeps oil hot enough that there is very little absorption.

Vegetarian enchiladas for tonight were excellent. I’d love these again with added burger would nice. Crepes with our cherries was the dessert.
It all looks wonderful, John! Love the plate with the crepe - looks similar to my clan Tartan.
