bread, but being a diabetic, I have to limit my carbs. Being and growing up Italian, it seemed like bread was
necessary with every meal. " We cannot talk without waving and using our hands!" and "We can't eat without
eating bread!" ......

We did not grow up with bread on the table, either on the Scottish or Polish sides of my family. Jimmy, my "pusher" is always a dinner knife. My heart goes out to you because I know you love carbs, especially sweets, and it's gotta be tough when they are brought into your house.

I am Italian and my mom rarely had bread with a meal. She loved nice crusty bread with tomato salad.
