What are you doing today?

We got slapped with a state violation at work today, which comes as no surprise.
This is all due to agency workers being non-compliant with our current covid regulations (yes, we've had covid cases again since last week).
You must comply!
Also, unrelated... got into it with a family member on Facebook a bit ago over something political.
I don't like to do politics here or THERE.
I know how I feel and I know where I can talk about it.

Severe stomach pain last night finally gave in and went to the ER. They did tests and found I have issues with my gallbladder. They transferred me to the hospital today they did an endoscopy killed some stones that were in the vile duct and put a stent in my vile duct. Tomorrow they remove the gallbladder no fun at all, but it sure needed done. The pain I was in was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life.

Geez, that stinks out loud, Doc! Sorry you're going through this, but glad you'll be feeling better very soon!

I'm going to get out and do some shopping this afternoon - since I'm feeling human again.
Then I'll swing over by work and see about picking up some shifts next week.

It's been rougher than I've cared to mention.
Three of our residents have died from this damn flu, most recently one of my favourite gentleman.
A beautiful man named Jack.
I'm going to miss him.

Geez, Lora, I'm sorry that you went through a tough bout! And sorry for the loss of your folks.

Good to hear that you're better - take it easy!

Oh, wow! We just saw two flocks of starlings doing that wavy flight thing they do. Incredible to see. We are driving along the Columbia River.
Have you seen flocks of bats? It's a common sight in Kandy in the evening. I don't know if it can be called a flock because the whole sky gets covered with them, literally. I tried several times to get a photo but my phone pictures just show blurred dots only.

And sorry for the loss of your folks.

Thanks, Lee.
Jack was a beautiful soul.
His 3 sons are carbon copies of him.
All very handsome and precious, just like he was.
