Mama, I've made the pumpkin gooey cake before, but your layers looked a lot better than mine did.

Your bottom cake layer was higher, and MUCH prettier!

Ya know Lee, my daughter said the same thing. Maybe it's the cake mix. I always use Pillsbury Super Moist cake mix. She uses Duncan Hines. I also use the mixer and mix it pretty well...maybe it adds some air or something to the mix....beats me...just guessing here

Making party rye this morning to make Sausage & Cheese on Rye for an appetizer party this afternoon, and some rye sandwich thins with the rest of the dough.

Just baked a Seven-up Pound Cake. It is cooling in the pan, then I'll remove it from the pan and finish cooling it.

Looks kind of bumpy and uneven, but the bottom side will be the public side.

I made my first loaves of Ciabatta bread yesterday. It actually came out pretty good......
