I had a friend in High School who had a pet raccoon...... used to walk around
with it on his shoulder......... one day, the critter got upset about something and took
my friend's ear off.........
That's an older pic from last summer.
Since then Cocoa has been taken to an animal rehabilitation center and was released back into the wild.
She starts clinicals at a nursing home on Wednesday for her RN at Northwest State.
I told her to lose the nose ring and makeup when she hits the floor.

Nancy has been making collages in shadow boxes for her sisters with using family fishing pictures and hand tied flies her step grandfather made. This the one she did for us.

That is a beautiful cat. All my kitties nibble but never hurt me usually. Sometimes if I’m playing with one of them they get excited and give me a scratch but it’s not on purpose or viscous. The love I get from them out weighs the occasional scratch.

Amelia and her mom, Meg, are at a family reunion in Bend, OR this week.
Madeleine’s other grandmother is in Park City for a few weeks and sent some

Fifty years ago my brother had a one night stand with a barmaid.
She got pregnant and went to Oklahoma, had the child, and never
said a word to my brother. Awhile back this young man contacted
me and told me he was my nephew… wondering about health
issues he was having, same as mine. We’ve become close and he
calls me Uncle John and my brother Uncle Mike. My brother, his
real father is passed away. Tom was a collegiate swimmer at Arkansas,
successful contractor, and his wife is a noted family lawyer in Calif.
He has met with my nephew and my brother’s ex and they are close
friends. I hope to meet up with him one of these days. We are working
on it. He looks a lot like my son, Matt.

Peter and Amelia went camping for a few days last week.
