USPS simply is not an option for me unless it is sent signature required. I would not want to be the one to have to post and tell everyone it never got to me :(
Sending it back out would not be a problem. If this messes with logistics I would have to refrain.
I think most are sending it US mail in an 8 x 11 envelope.

Edit to add:
Oh, I see, you said USPS. I read it UPS. opps.

Anyone know how much extra it costs for signature required? The next one to mail it please ask so we'll know. Thanks In Advance.

Peep - where are you mailing your stuff from? overnight with signature required is $17.50 through USPS. if you send it priority (2-3 days) it is $4.95 + $2.30 for signature. you can also send it 1st class mail if it weighs under 13oz. for $3-4. all of this is inside the U.S. it all depends on the zone it is going to as well.

In the pot is vegetable soup.

Peep - Those are Bear & Liam. Absolutely nothing is done in this house without their direct supervision. They have given their word that no scrap shall hit the floor.

For the rest of the day, I was manufacturing Adirondack chairs. The patiently supervised me all day.

Hey Andy! You are very close to how I pictured you, and I like your kitchen and stove. We have a lab mix (Jordan, the pound puppy) whose goal and main purpose in life is to lap up every single speck and drop of whatever hits the floor. It's a good life.

andy is your stove a GE? i have a GE that looks just like yours (grates but i have 3 of them and control panel) but i have a long center burner and i can switch out the grate for a griddle insert and i have a bottom draw with a small warming oven.

It is a GE. I had to get that size, because, that is all the room I had without cabinet surgery.

It's a great stove. Never again black though.

Thank you all for the compliments. Bear & Liam thank you as well.

Joe - one of the main breed characteristics of a lab is food. You gaotta love 'em though.

I really like the kitchen. It is compact, but, I have it laid out now so that I can grab most anything I am looking for easily. As I said, I am not a fan of cleaning the black stove. It does look good when it is clean though.

Ohhhh, there you are, Andy!

You look as nice as you "sound" in print! :respect:

My job is to make a mess of our black stove, and DW's job is restoration of the finish. The old white stove did not show grease as much as the black does. I agree, it's beautiful when clean, which is about 2 hours each week.:bonk:

WooHoo, Andy! Those pics are wonderful! You have such a wonderful smile, my friend. And a beautiful kitchen, too. It looks like such a warm and welcoming place to cook and chat.

Bucky - The left front is fairly high output. The right front is the "hotest" and has a power boil. Right is too big (Diameter) for a small pan. Left rear is good to keep things "going". Right rear is a small simmer burner, I make a lot of use of it for soups / stews, etc. Boil it in front and move it off to simmer.

Joe - Amen to the two hours a week.

thats the way my burners are set up also, on my GE Profile stove. i love power boil. when i use my Cast iron grill pan i use the right side burners with the front and back cranked.

very nice pictures! Sure could use some of that soup with the flu I caught this past weekend. You look like you have a nice set-up there to. sh
