Thanks Terry!! Yeah I did the mosaic, it was my first hand at it about 10 years ago. It's in the process of coming down for something different. lol If I have the chance I'll take a pic of the whole thing.....it's supposed to be a sunburst.........

Fred's sausage is great!! I didn't even have to ask. He was kind enough to bring it. :blush:

Ooooh nooooo, you're not going to rip that mosaic out, are you??? It's beautiful. Please take a pic of the whole thing, if you can. And tell me how you did it.

Here's my contribution to the Roving Apron Thread. The loaves are 100% whole wheat bread, and I also made two loaves of Italian this morning.

I'm headed over to the Post Office to send it to Andy in New Jersey. It's in a Priority Mail envelope so it should be there in a couple of days.

Great pic! You look so happy. Lol--I would be too if I could turn out some loaves of bread like that. They are beautiful.....no sunken spots, no torn edges :applause:.

Use my recipes and they will turn out like mine. There's really no secret, just practice, practice, practice. Anyone who wants to make bread can make bread, and nobody says it has to look pretty. Permit me to introduce you to some of my early baking disasters...

Yep, those were supposed to be hot dog and hamburger buns. Not pretty, but they tasted just fine.:yum::yum:

Joe, you're a prince! This is exactly the kind of post - complete with pics - that gave me the confidence to seriously start trying to improve my cooking skills (again.) If you grew up learning to cook, it's hard to understand how baffling and bewildering and downright intimidating it can be. But when an accomplished cook or baker is willing to display his mistakes, as well as his triumphs, it gives someone who is struggling hope. Thanks, Joe.:applause::applause::applause:

Lol--I could show you some Ellie Mae biscuits and some Ellie Mae pie crusts......but, I won't. Not pretty, Not Tasty, Not At All :yum:.

He acknowledged receipt of the apron from me (sent it Priority Mail) and said he would get to it on the weekend. I just don't remember if that was last weekend or this weekend. I have CRS, you know.:twak:
