Movies You Watched

Watched Taken the other night. Very good movie.

Was going to go out to see a movie tonight with DH. We wanted to see Dinner for Schmucks - I LOVE Steve Carrell. There is only one theater in this entire town that's showing it and it's matinee only. WTH???

That's one of my favourites Buzz.
I like her in almost everything. I think the last I watched with her was Stranger Among Us. Now THAT was great.
As for the latest film I watched.
It was Fear- with Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon.
While I despised his character in the film, I still think he's a little hotsie totsie.
I won't even mention the rollercoaster scene.:whistling:

Taken was excellent!! Its on later tonight on cable. I may watch it again. Liam is also on now in Narnia: prince caspian. hes a great actor.

Just watched The Expendables.

While it was way cool to see so many Action heroes in one place (and at how damn good Sly looks at his age - so encouraging!), the movie itself was rather discombobulated. It struggled to find a central theme it could call a plot, wandered aimlessly on many occasions, and tried too hard to be comical. Overall, worth seeing if you're a fan of the testosterone group, but if you’re looking for an engrossing movie with a decent plot to keep you riveted - look elsewhere.

I’m a fan of all the major players - Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Statham, Li, Lundgren, Couture, and more - so that alone made it worth my chronological investment. But as movies go, had this been manned by no names, I’d label it as a stinker.

I just watched Lake Placid. Yes, I know it is the standard "giant crocodile reign of terror" movie, but any movie that has Betty White saying, "This is the point at which, if I were a man, I'd tell you to suck my dick," is a great movie in my book.

PS - sorry if I offended anyone. Is this a "family" board?

Betty White RULES in that movie! So many great lines from her! She is the only reason I've seen that movie......3 times!:lol::lol::lol:

DW and I just finished watching Seven Pounds. Will Smith is a much better actor than the action pictures he's been in might suggest. The man is really good, and so was everyone else in this flick.

Book of Eli. Not what I was expecting, and it became predictable about 50% through, but still a pretty good flick. I've always been a fan of the Post-apocalyptic type films, so this one appealed to me.

I have that and have been meaning to watch it. Maybe Thursday.
