The steaks were good but I used a big piece of oak to bank the coals and Nancy didn’t care for the smoke flavour.
Today I'm just going to have a salad and fruit.

We had a Cesar salad last night and will do another tonight. I’m planning on making an oyster stew then go to 7 PM church service. It will be a busy day today…

Do you coddle the egg or use raw? I've done both over the years. I tried the mayo substitute once, and it just isn't the same at all.

Lunch-all beef hotdog, Sauerkraut & a Squirt.
I had a salad of butter lettuce, red onion, boiled egg slices, tomatoes and the usual craisins,sliced almonds and avocado ranch dressing.

We don’t use egg anymore but used to use raw.
There are recipes that call for Egg Substitute...they are good!

I made oyster stew and had a piece of cherry pie that came out more like cobbler. These are cherries we bought and canned.

We went to Rose Garden and we were second couple seated. Nancy ordered 3 appetizer’s and 5 entrees and I ordered one, Mongolian Beef. It could have been spicier. We brought home a lot of leftovers and have meals for several days. My Mongolian beef…
This was the Christmas dinner that Kathy and I did not have last year, since her beloved dog was so ill (we had to take her dog to the vet for the last time the day after Christmas).
The prime rib did pretty well after being in the freezer all this time. I did age it in the fridge for 3 days.
With baked potato, stuffed mushrooms and peas.

Christmas Dinner:
Grilled lamb chops, roasted potatoes, stuffed grape leaves with egg-lemon sauce, village salad with feta, hummus, tzatziki, and grilled pita. Gingerbread tiramisu for dessert.

Chicken and broccoli, peanut butter chicken, tandoori chick on a stick,seafood delight,
crab rangoons, an egg roll and a little General Tso chicken.
Didn't go wild this time lol
I'm nibbling around and will have the rest later, as usual.

Yes, Nancy went wild yesterday. All I wanted was duck and they had none. I could have been happy with all appetizers.
