Yeah... I remember when the Ziti were long, and if they were short, we called them Cut Zita
Then there were Perciatelli that my mom hated when we would make squealing sounds as we sucked them up to eat them. Then, they would give a slap of sauce up the nose, and all over the table.

Used up the l/o Big Mac Sloppy Joe fixin's...and had that with some Fritos. Not fancy and not picture worthy, but hit the spot.

I cooked sirloin tips with king oyster mushrooms in a red wine/dijon/caper sauce. Served it over buttered egg noodles with grilled asparagus on the side.

String beans with new potatoes cooked with a bit of bacon and served with a ginormous wedge of cornbread.

Lunch was a tuna salad sandwich, and a hand full of cherries.
Supper will be codfish, pan baked in a butter wine sauce, and topped with slices of a tomato. Rice as a carb.

I'll be making a bowtie pasta dish, with shrimp,tomatoes, broccoli and parm.

Lobster Alfredo over Fettuccine. Also a lobster tail
in lemon butter & a coke.

You would have enjoyed the blackberry ravioli. It's made with wine and butter. The taste of the wine lingers even after frying them.

Nothing Pretty, but it was tasty. I like cod, but I always had it made with dried and salted codfish. Maybe that is why I have so many heart problems? LOL ..... Tina won't allow it because it is stinky when it is soaking in the pot to remove the salt.

We're having homemade Dumb Dinner - took a look thru my freezer and found l/o sauerbraten and red cabbage too. I may - or may not - make some taters of some sort and/or a salad. We'll see how hungry we are later today. First, we're off to fix a beeping smoke detector at Mom's.
