What's on The Plates Sunday October 29 - Saturday November 4

These are Giovanni Rana chicken stuffed torts, in Alfredo sauce with spinach and kale, cubed sweet potato, a pinch of nutmeg and chopped pecans.
I really am enjoying this!
Nice blend of flavours.

I bought a box of frozen tempura shrimp to try. We LOVED them! Served with a soy/ginger sauce that I made, Success jasmine rice and asparagus. And sake. Ready in minutes and "almost homemade" .

Had Chicken Bubble Stew.
Tina was out and about, and I dug out the big cast iron pot from the shed for cooking the chicken.
I saw a few rust spots on the pot, and so, I ventured back to the kitchen, and started to scrub the pot with dish soap and steel wool. Tina came home and read me the riot act. SOAP????? she said....
NOoooooo!!!!!.... Never use soap! So as the bubbles taste smelled up the pot, I said, "When the bubbles start floating in the air, we can sing "A -One and A -2 and A-3" Like years ago on the
Lawrence Welk show..... WRONG! .......she did not appreciate that comment. I'm sorry I was a Bad Boy. I said "Stick the bar of soap in my mouth for Punishment!"
 
I decided not to have the leftover tortellini, it was delicious, but kinda heavy.
Someone will eat it lol

This morning I had a fried egg with toasted Dave's.
This is dinner.
Healthy salad of romaine, spinach and kale, cucumber and tomatoes with pecans.
I'll use a bit of Thousand Island.

The planned pork chops never happened. They can be for tomorrow.
Instead, we celebrated the start of diabetes month. For me anyway. We had Belgian waffles with whipped butter, and syrup. I just got my Trulicity diabetic drug, and Tina is still waiting for her Ozempic.
Operantly, It's hard for the pharmacy's to get it. That's ridiculous.
After supper, I'm having a piece of coconut custard pie, and a 'Krispy Kreme' cup of perked coffee.

I've been having trouble getting Ozempic also. It's because doctors are giving Ozempic scripts to people who want to lose weight. It really P's me off. Because I NEED this.

Jimmy, I don't understand what this means. Are you able to eat whatever sweets and other carbs that you want now without worrying about it?
